Blog tip: Sunday post at the always interesting Lines and Colors, sent me to Spanish painter Ramon Casas, who studied with
at about the same time as Jeanette. Notice that the woman is seated at a table intended for one, whereas the other table has glasses for two. I can’t tell what is at her right hand, but I love imagining that it is a sketchbook and pencil. The windmill implies that the café is on Montmartre.
